Paul has a firm belief that the development of the UK's technological and manufacturing industries, particularly in the field of biotechnology, holds the key to future growth and prosperity, as well as being integral to improved global welfare. With extensive experience of value generation in public market and private equity environments, business turnaround/reorganisation and driving profitable sales growth, Paul has broad sector exposure spanning chemicals/fine chemicals(ICI, Courtaulds), FMCG manufacturing, electrical equipment and life sciences/biotechnology, with a recent focus on sustainable technologies. He also chairs the the UKRI BBSRC Bioscience for the Renewable Resources and Clean Growth Strategy Advisory Panel.
